Steady Rocking Delight
Here’s an all-purpose mix that came together while killing time in airports, motel lobbies, and train stations. Starting off with a few favorite electric epics, Steady Rocking Delight occasionally meanders off the grid into ballroom soul and psychedelic terrain. In several parts you’ll hear the sound of AM radios being tuned in cheap motel rooms and rental cars in Istanbul, Lapland, Detroit, Tennessee, and New Mexico.

No idea what language that opening track is sung in but it’s a version of a very famous spanish bolero named ‘historia de un amor’. My grandmother used to play it constantly, this version by Los Panchos in particular: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsowBLNIJMU
Wow, thanks for the track ID! I recorded it in a motel room in Lapland, so I’m guessing it’s in Finnish, although I’m not certain.
It is in Finnish.
